WHAT DOES A SESSION LOOK LIKE?

Hugh's practise is guided by somatic theorywhereby the body guides which therapies are best applied for a 'body felt' experience. Sessions allow the client to ‘let go’, unwind and release tensions and restriction in their body in a gentle and unforced manner.

Hugh’s approach to bodywork is designed to empower his clients by giving them awareness of their body, helping them identify where they are holding tensions and unique patterns in the tissue. Treatments are designed to emphasise both balance of the body systems and postural alignment by applying subtle techniques to encourage the body into a more comfortable and natural state of being.

Hugh assesses the body from a structural and mechanical perspective but also intuition that comes from extensive experience to devise a holistic and organic treatment plan.

Clients are supported with at home adjuncts and information to assist them from home between sessions.
